The event took place on September 23 at Henry V. Kong Gymnasium. Three resource speakers shared valuable insights on various topics: - “Inventory of Fishing Gears Used by Small-Scale Fishers for Shark Fishing in Tawi-Tawi” by Ms. Faiza J. Attip, Ms. Ruqaiya A. Juahari, and Ms. Merfat A. Sali. - “Participation of Men and Women in Sardine Fishery in the Sulu Archipelago, Southern Mindanao” presented by Assoc. The lectures emphasized the importance of sustaining marine life and the appropriate use of fishing gear in different seasons.
