In 2024, Mindanao State University - Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU-TCTO) strengthened its commitment to inclusive, transformative education in Southern Philippines. Driven by its mandate to serve the Bangsamoro region and beyond, the University ensured its programs, resources, and strategic priorities reached not only its main campus in Sanga Sanga but also extended across the islands of Tawi-Tawi. Guided by the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water) MSU-TCTO advanced its unique academic offerings, oceanographic research, and community engagement. Under the visionary leadership of Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, Ph.D., 2024 saw remarkable growth in research productivity and international academic engagement. Faculty and students were empowered to pursue collaborative projects, resulting in a surge of Scopus indexed publications, global conference participation, and cross-border exchange initiatives. This year, MSU-TCTO reaffirmed its role as a catalyst for regional progress-developing not only scholars and professionals but future leaders who will elevate the social, economic, and environmental future of Tawi-Tawi. Our momentum reflects a dynamic institution, ever-evolving, yet deeply rooted in its mission to transform lives through education, innovation, and inclusive excellence
