About the College of Law - Tawi-Tawi Extension

The College of Law – Tawi-Tawi Extension, one of the newly established extension campuses of the Mindanao State University (MSU) College of Law, was formally created and approved by former University President, Atty. Basari Dimakuta Mapupuno, during the 51st Commencement Exercises of the MSU Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography, held at the Henry V. Kong Gymnasium on August 2, 2023.

The College of Law aims to:

1.

Prepare its students to the practice of law;

Inculcate upon our students an awareness and commitment to the needs of the deprived and oppressed sectors of our society;

Bring legal service to the people through legal aid programs and other external services;

Assist in the development of Islamic Law and Jurisprudence and the Philippine legal system and legal institution in the light of historical and contemporary development of law in the country and other countries in the world.
