**MSU Law Tawi-Tawi Launches 1st Sheik Karim'ul Makhdum Learning Sessions** To strengthen Shariah legal education in the Philippines, the College of Law - Tawi-Tawi Extension and the Bangsamoro Attorney General's Office (BAGO) successfully launched the 1st Sheik Karim'ul Makhdum Learning Session on October 9 at the MSU-TCTO Dormitel. Organized in collaboration with the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies and REX Bookstore, the program is named after the Arab-Syrian missionary who built the first recorded mosque in the Philippines, located in present-day Simunul, Tawi-Tawi. This semestral activity aims to enhance learning in Shariah legal education, aligning with the goals of the College of Law and the Bangsamoro Government. BAGO's Atty. Mohamad Rayyan M. Domado, SCL, delivered the inaugural lecture on *Shariah Concepts and Principles in the Bangsamoro Organic Law*, followed by Ms. Hadzra J. Sauragal, SCL, who shared insights from her Shariah Bar journey in her talk *Becoming a Shariah Counselor: Tips and Experience on the Shariah Bar Examinations*. The program was well-attended by junior and senior students from the Islamic Studies and Shariah program of the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies. #SDG4QualityEducation #SDG16PeaceJusticeAndStrongInstitutions #OneWithMSULaw #iLoveMSUTCTO #CreatingOpportunitiesTransformingLives
