The University of the Philippines - Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP-CIDS) and Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi, in partnership with the Philippine Studies Association (PSA, Inc.) and with support from the Australian National University (ANU) Philippines Institute, present Embracing the Currents: An International Conference on the Sulu Archipelago.

The conference will be from 12-14 November 2024 at Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU-TCTO) in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi and will feature Dr. Leonard Andaya from the University of Hawaii - Manoa as keynote speaker.

Dr. Clement Camposano, Chancellor of UP Visayas, is the designated Conference Director. Acting as Deputy Conference Director is Dr. Fernigil Colicol of MSU-TCTO.Stay tuned for more details about the conference!
