The KOHA Library System is an Integrated Library System (ILS) that plays a crucial role in managing and providing access to a university's library resources.

📚 KOHA helps manage the library's collection, including cataloging, classification, and circulation of materials. 📚 KOHA provides a user-friendly Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) that enables students, faculty, researchers, and staff to easily search and discover library resources. 📚 KOHA provides librarians with tools to generate reports and analytics on library usage and collection.

By implementing KOHA Library System, the university can improve the management and accessibility of our Campus Library.

BARMM Turns Over Two New Student Residence Halls to MSU TCTO

BONGAO, Tawi-Tawi | July 6, 2026 — The Ministry of Public Works (MPW)–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), through the Tawi-Tawi District Engineering Office, formally turned over two newly constructed student residence halls to the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) during a ceremony held on July 6, 2026, at the University grounds.

Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) and the Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy (PCID) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on June 25, 2026, at the Sabdani Bulante Hall, MSU TCTO, to support the implementation of the Diploma in Women, Peace, and Security.

In its continuing pursuit of excellence in marine sustainability and environmental stewardship, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) has achieved another milestone after emerging as the No. 1 participating higher education institution in the Philippines under Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14: Life Below Water in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, securing a place in the 101–200 global bracket.
