Prof. Benecito L. Maratas, the outgoing Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, hands over his position to the incoming VCAA, Prof. Wilham M. Hailaya.
In a simple ceremony held yesterday, August 22, at the Conference Room, Prof. Benecito L. Maratas, the outgoing Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, officially handed over to the incoming Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wilham M. Hailaya.
Following his retirement, Prof. Maratas delivered his message. He reiterated his trust in Prof. Hailayaโs ability to uphold the responsibilities and commitment of the Vice Chancellor position.
Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali acknowledged Prof. Maratasโ dedicated service and commitment during his tenure while expressing confidence that Prof. Hailaya will continue to uphold the Universityโs mission and vision.
