Assistant Professor Aljemedin Jaudinez, Director of the Sama Studies Center and faculty at the College of Education, has been selected as a principal candidate for the 2025 Fulbright Student Award in the United States. Chosen for his exceptional academic achievements, he is set to pursue a PhD in STEM Education (Mathematics and Statistical Education) at North Carolina State University, starting August 2025. His selection highlights his dedication to advancing mathematics education and fostering international collaboration.
The Philippine-American Educational Foundation Board formally announced Asst. Prof. Jaudinez’s selection, recognizing his academic excellence and leadership potential in the field of mathematics education. His Fulbright grant offers a rare opportunity to engage with global experts, contribute to innovative research, and refine methodologies that can impact STEM education in the Philippines.
During his Fulbright program, Asst. Prof. Jaudinez will help fulfill the core mission of the Fulbright Program—promoting mutual understanding between the United States and the Philippines through academic and cultural exchange. Through his engagement in advanced research, scholarly discourse, and international collaboration, he will bridge the gap between mathematical education theory and practical applications.
