Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un

"Truly, to Allah we belong, and to Him, we shall return."

(Qur’an 2:156)

The Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology joins the entire MSU community in deep sorrow as we mourn the passing of 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗸𝘂𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗼, President of the Mindanao State University System.

President Mapupuno played a transformative role in guiding the university’s growth and progress. His dedication to public service and higher education has left a legacy—one that will continue to inspire and shape future generations. Through his visionary leadership, wisdom, and relentless commitment to learning, he uplifted countless lives and laid the foundation for a brighter, more promising future. Notably, his efforts were instrumental in securing approval for the College of Law at TCTO, further expanding educational opportunities and strengthening the university’s mission of excellence.

May Allah (S.W.T.) grant him eternal peace in Jannatul Firdaus, envelop him in His boundless mercy, and forgive his shortcomings. We offer our deepest prayers and condolences to his family, colleagues, and loved ones. May they find strength and solace in this time of grief, and may his memory continue to guide and inspire us all.
