Honoring Our Heroes: World Teachers’ Day Celebration The College of Education celebrated World Teachers’ Day on October 17 at the Henry V. Kong Gymnasium, honoring the selfless dedication of teachers. Prof. Caharl H. Ammang, former principal of the now-merged MSU-Preparatory High School, delivered the keynote address. He emphasized the vital role of teachers in shaping the future and recognized their hard work and passion. “To be a teacher is to be a guiding light, a nurturer of potential, and a builder of societies,” he stated, reminding everyone of the profound impact educators have on their students.
