Happy 57th ASEAN Founding Anniversary! Celebrate with us as we honor this ASEAN Month with a spectacular fusion of culture, literature, and unity! On August 24, 2024, MSU TCTO presents the Southeast Asian Literary and Cultural Festival with the theme: “Bridging Borders: Connecting Tawi-Tawi’s Stories with ASEAN Narratives.” This event promises a day filled with cultural richness and cross-border connections! Join us at the Henry V. Kong Gymnasium for a dynamic lineup of cultural performances and presentations from various colleges, celebrating the diverse tapestry of Southeast Asian heritage. This event is organized in collaboration with the MSU TCTO Office of International Linkages (OIL), Cultural Affairs Office (CAO), Gender and Development (GAD) Office, American Corner, Sentro ng Wika at Kultura (SWAK), Sama Studies Center and Mindanao Creative and Cultural Workers Group, Inc. MSU TCTO, Wildlife Conservation Society Forge Partnership for Marine Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development

To further strengthen research collaboration and community-based environmental action, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) formally sealed a strategic partnership to advance biodiversity conservation, marine protection, and community-based environmental initiatives in Tawi-Tawi and the broader Sulu–Sulawesi Seascape.

MSU TCTO CIAS Programs Granted COPC After CHED OPSD Central Evaluation

In its continuing pursuit of academic excellence and quality assurance, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) has secured Certificates of Program Compliance (COPC) for academic programs evaluated by the Commission on Higher Education Office of Programs and Standards Development (CHED OPSD) Central, particularly those under the College of Islamic Arts and Sciences (CIAS).

MSU TCTO Strengthens Partnership with Local Government Units through MOU Signing

The MSU Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Local Government Units of Simunul, Panglima Sugala, Sibutu, South Ubian, Bongao, Tandubas, and Sitangkai on December 17 at the Conference Room, Sabdani J. Bulante Building. The agreement formalizes a collaborative partnership in support of marine biodiversity conservation and fisheries management in the Province of Tawi-Tawi.
