Emphasizing on the importance of Filipino-American (Fil-Am) History, a special lecture about the origins of Filipino communities in the Americas and the present-day Filipino-American communities in the United States was held last February 5 at the American Corner Washington Hall.
The lecture, held in two sessions, was delivered by Ms. Titania Bucholdt, mentor of the California Traditional Artists and a Filipino-American who has roots in Batanes. It was attended by History students from the College of Arts and Sciences.
